Houston's House of Hope

"Reach One, Teach One"

Hope's Mission

Houston's House of Hope will endeavor to change the everyday way of life for every child that is entrusted to our care.  We are fully committed to the emotional welfare, mental stability, nurture,  and spiritual growth for each child that we are fortunate enough to care for.  We aim to "Reach One, Teach One." For every child that we are able to reach through our proven therapeutic methods, we aim to help teach that same child how to function in a normal familial environment.

Hope's Story

Houston's House of Hope is a nonprofit organization that provides kids with a more therapeutic living environment that are disproportionally at a higher risk of child abuse and neglect while living in communities just like ours.

Here at Houston’s House of Hope, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause of serving the underserved. Since 2010, our parent organization, House of Hope Ministries has been supporting our community members in a variety of ways. Moreover,  measuring our success not by monetary size, but with more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. Just imagine what we can achieve together!

Houston's House of Hope at a Glance

Houston’s House of Hope knows that our strength not only lies in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. In 2010, our parent nonprofit organization House of Hope Ministries realized that by working together with willing participants in communities we could overcome some of the challenges that at-risk kids are faced with. House of Hope Ministries is committed to helping every individual reach their full potential by developing their spiritual foundation while standing on solid faith-based principles. Historically, many at-risk children often end up in the foster care system with no support from their biological families. While placed in foster care many children often feel abandoned and isolated. Admittedly, this is why we ultimately decided to launch Houston’s House of Hope in 2021. It is our focus to provide each child we encounter the tools needed to have a fair chance to be successful in life. We aim to Reach One, Teach One!

Child Placement Agency

On any given day in Texas there are thousands of kids that have been placed into the state’s foster care system. Houston’s House of Hope endeavors to work alongside state agencies to provide nurturing and compatible foster home placements for kids. We train and partner with families in communities that are willing to assist us in providing proper familial environments to help kids with transitioning to being placed foster care.We will also offer adoption services to qualifying families. If you are interested in learning more about how families assist us, please contact us below or call today.

Residential Treatment

Houston's House of Hope provides exceptional enrichment and leadership development opportunities to youth in the greater Houston area. We provide kids with aquatic, equine, and behavior therapeutic services. We offer youth an opportunity to create and mold their own unique experiences through our wide range of educational and leadership activities. We see the true power that our youth hold, and we have made it our mission to transform them into natural born leaders, ready to take on the world. We aim to be a place of HOPE and VICTORY in a difficult world for all kids.

Volunteer And Mentoring Program

There are many ways to give back to our kids here at Houston’s House of Hope. Mentors and volunteers are a very important part of our therapeutic program. Historically, Mentors and Volunteers are able to connect to our kids in a more cultural and parental way. We encourage you to reach out to our corporate office if you have a desire to learn more about our volunteer and mentoring program.
